Two Indian origin CEOs LyondellBasell’s Bhavesh Patel and PepsiCo’s Indra Nooyi have made it to the top 10 highest paid CEOs, while Microsoft’s Satya Nadella found his place in a list of top 100 highest paid CEOs in the world compiled by Equilar.
While chemicals giant LyondellBasell Industries’ CEO Bhavesh V Patel occupied the sixth spot with a total pay packet of $24.5 million, PepsiCo’s Indra Nooyi stood in the eighth position with a handsome remuneration of $22.2 million.
Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella secured the 26th on the list of 100 highest paid CEOs with a hefty salary of $18.3 million. Oracle Corporation’s CEOs Mark V Hurd and Safra A Catz secured the top position with $53.2 million together.
Robert A Iger of Walt Disney ($43.5 million), David M Cote of Honeywell International ($33.1 million), General Electric’s Jeffrey R Immelt ($26.4 million), Randall L Stephenson of AT&T ($22.4 million), Rupert Murdoch of Twenty-First Century Fox ($22.2 million) and James P Gorman of Morgan Stanley ($22 million) are among the top 10 highest paid CEOs in the world.
