The biggest challenge that the entire globe is facing right now is the depletion of green cover. Each day, thousands of trees are being cut down mercilessly in the name of development and industrialization. This is in turn leading to some horrifying natural calamities like cyclones, earthquakes and floods.
Anyhow, one man seems to be very particular to revive Mother Nature. He is the noted MP Dr Hari Babu from BJP. Sharing his thoughts on Twitter, he mentioned like this – ‘Vizag has a population of 18 Lakh. Our slogan is ‘Each One, Plant One’. Let us all collectively work for ‘Green Visakha’.
This is in response to the relief measures being organized in the city of Vizag which is slowly recovering from the aftermath of destruction left by Hudhud cyclone. If what Hari Babu is suggesting happens in one year then there would be a total of 18 lakh trees taking birth at a time which is indeed phenomenal. Here’s wishing Vizag the best of success to achieve that and set a great example.
